Church Prayer Guide
We believe that every student who makes a decision to become a follower of Christ must be incorporated into the life of a healthy, Bible Believing local church.
- Pray that students will be loved and accepted in your church
- Pray that your church will always be full of spiritual life.
- Pray that the adults in your church will be positive role models and mentors to students.
- Pray for all the ministries in your church that have the potentional to influence youth and children. These would include SUnday SChool, mininstreis that target certain age groups, the youth ministry, the children's ministry, etc.
- Pray for the leadership of your local church - the pastor and those who are in the ministries that influence youth and children.
Campus Prayer Guide
Prayer for the Students:
Students spend a large portion of their time at school. Use the campus prayer guide to help you pray for the students. The students are in the most strategic position to reach the school with the message of the gospel.
PRAY...
- for the salvation of students.
- that God would raise up campus missionaries for each school.
- for the safety of the students and faculty at schools.
- for God’s anointing and blessing on the campus clubs.
- for the effective distribution of gospel literature.
- that everyone on campus may receive a clear presentation of the gospel.
- that Jesus will be glorified.
Pray for the school(s):
School boards, principals, teachers, and counselors are in key positions to influence the campus.
PRAY...
- for the salvation of administrators, teachers, and staff.
- that God would give wisdom to the administrators, teachers, and counselors at your adopted school(s).
- for the school board and superintendent of the school district.
- for campus staff, teacher assistants, cooks, bus drivers, and maintenance personnel.
- for Christian teachers, administrators, and local Christian Education Associations.
Community Prayer Guide
Use this prayer guide to help you pray for the youth and children in your community. While chidlren and youth spend a great deal of time at school, we understand that there are other influences in the lives of young people. As you pray for the youth and children in your community, focus on these areas:
Home
- Pray that God would bless each home with peace.
- Ask God to give parents wisdom in raising their children.
- Pray that parents would take a genuine interest in the spiritual welfare of their children.
- Consider doing a prayer walk in your neighborhood praying fo each home that you pass.
- Use the scripture based prayers and simple change the references from school/campus to home.
Hangouts
Each communiity has places that are pupular with youth and children, it could be community ball fields, skating rink, mall , fast foot, restaurants, skate baord parks, parking lots, etc. Identify those places and pray for them on a regular basis. Unfortunately, it is as these places that young people often give in to negative peer pressure so ask God to help those young people be strong in the face of temptation and even persecution.
Businesses
Pray for the businesses in your community that have influence over the lives of youth and children. Pray that God would bless those biniesses that are in a postion to have a positive influence on young people. Ask God to limite the influence of those buinesses that would be negative influences.
