SMALL GROUP INFORMATION
Small Groups exist to provide a comfortable environment where participants experience authentic community and spiritual growth.
What is a Small Group?
Small groups meet weekly or bi-weekly in someone’s home for the purpose of building relationships, Biblical study, discussion and prayer. They are for adults of all stages of life and spiritual maturity and they are generally organized by age and geographical location.
Why should someone be a part of a Small Group?
Small groups allow believers to grow closer to one another. They help to facilitate friendships with others at NLC, group members will be begin to strengthen each others relationship with God, hence participating in small groups not only unites people together but also fosters spiritual growth.

When and where do Small Groups meet?
Small Groups will set up their own time and day of the week to meet. The small group meeting time will be 1.5 hours in length. The day must be consistent each week and month the group is meeting.
Small Groups may meet on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday evening. No small groups should meet on Wednesday evenings.
Small Groups may meet in the group leaders home or in the home of another group member.
Each group will differ depending on their focus, yet each group will consist of building relationships, prayer, and Biblical discussion from the Sunday morning sermon.
Is childcare provided for each Small Group?
NLC will do their best to provide paid child care for each Life Group during meeting time at the discretion of the Spiritual Life Pastor.
What do Small Groups study?
Each small group will be given a study guide from the Sunday sermon. The purpose of the study guide is to help cement and further study the sermon topic.
